Welcome to VFK Planet, please take you time to read through these rules and guidelines to ensure your safety, these rules must be followed everywhere on VFK Planet; ignorance to these rules is no excuse if you are accused of breaking one.
Posting:
VFK Planetl allows you to discuss with game staff, and members, to keep you safe, the game staff are able to move, edit, delete, etc. topics that need to be. Please be sure to follow the rules at all times on the site. Below are more rules that you are obligated to follow.
G-Rated, Family Friendly Forum:
Since this forum is a family friendly forum, all posts and topics must be in the g-rated category, to tell if it is g-rated, say to yourself "Would I see this on VFK Planet?", if the answer is no, it probably won't be g-rated.
Some examples of non g-rated material that should not be posted here are: Adult Rated Material, References to Drugs and Alcohol, Violence, profanity, etc. Breaking this rule will result in a punishment.
Personal Information:
A goal here, is to provide you with a safe environment.
Personal information that shouldn't be given out are things such as the following: age, location, personal images, etc. Although you may have the option to add some of those things on your profile, that is the only place in which that information may be put. Use good judgement, and only display what you feel comfortable displaying.
Important Note: Personal images may not be used as avatars or included in signatures!
Flaming & Stereotyping:
Flaming is when someone deliberately criticizes someone (directly or indirectly) to the point where it can hurt them emotionally or mentally. Flaming can truly hurt someone, therefore, it is not allowed here and will not be tolerated. Anyone found flaming will receive some form of punishment. Stereotyping is when someone picks out different groups, trends, cultures, etc. and more times than not is intended to be insulting. We do not allow flaming or stereotyping at this site, and violators of this rule with not be tolerated.
Advertising:
Do not make VFK Planet your own advertising spot. This includes giving out links to your own personal sites, such as Myspace or Facebook. These are NOT allowed. This includes posting the links to them or sending them via private message. Either way, both are prohibited and those found to be advertising will be removed from the site for a period of time.
Harassment:
Harassing a fellow members or staff member is not acceptable here. If you were aware of any harassment matters please send them to an online staff member with as much information as possible.
Spamming:
Spamming is when people create several pointless threads and posts, or use way too many smilies, words, letters, etc. Spamming is not allowed here, and should be reported. Any form of spamming will be deleted and the member responsible will be addressed.
Bumping a Thread:
BUMP stands for Bring Up My Post. This is well known on many forums. If you were the last one to post, you must wait 24 hours to BUMP your thread and post again. You may only BUMP your own threads, and anyone other than you may not BUMP your threads.
Multiple & Double Posting:
This rule goes along with the thread bumping rule. The only time you are allowed to double post is every 24 hours when BUMPing a thread. Multiple Posting is considered spam and those who multiple post will be addressed and the proper consequence will be applied.
Thread Hijacking:
The act of taking over someone else's thread, this is not allowed, and action will be taken.
Impersonation:
Impersonating of anyone here, is strictly prohibited. People like Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers do not and would join game fan sites (if they did, they would not make themselves known) simply because of all the things they are doing. Impersonation of staff members from VFK Planet is not acceptable. The forum staff will research the member if they were to join the forum.
Favoritism:
Favoritism of members, staff members, groups, etc. is not allowed. Favoritism usually leads to negative behavior and hurt feelings. Anyone expressing Favoritism will be addressed immediately.
Plagiarism:
Plagiarism is NOT allowed at VFK Planet, this is when you take credit for anyone else's artwork, writing, etc. If you are quoting something from another member, site, etc. please give credit to that person/place, please get all places approved by staff members.
Backseat Moderating:
Backseat Moderating as when you as a member does the job of a moderator or other staff member. Your backseat moderating only creates spam and is not necessary. If you see something that is not allowed, please report it instead of posting saying that it isn't allowed.
Chain Letters:
These kinds of messages are usually made up by one person and sent to many others saying that if they don't pass it on, they will be cursed if you do not send the message to a certain amount of people. If you are told to send an unrealistic message to a certain amount of people, please do not, and report the person who sent it to you so that the proper action is taken.
Multiple/Sharing Accounts:
You are allowed one account. Multiple accounts are not allowed, and will be deleted if we find them, you are allowed family accounts, and sharing an account it is highly not a good idea.
Signatures:
A signature must not be any bigger than 500 x 250. A big signature causes forum clutter (which we don't want). The image below is exactly 500 x 250.
If you want to know how big your signature is, right click on the image and click properties and then it will tell you how big the image is in pixels. Please know that any staff member has the right to remove your signature at anytime if it breaks any of the rules.
Please do your best to keep it inside the box above. We will not make you size it down or remove it if you are a couple pixels too big.
Political & Religious Beliefs:
Any post, thread, or signature with political and/or religious beliefs in them are not allowed on here for the sake of keeping everyone happy. You are allowed to wish others "Merry/Happy Christmas/Hanukkah" etc., and that is all. Anything questioning the religion or belief itself will be deleted and will come along with a warning. Wishing and telling others about certain celebrations is allowed. However, you are not allowed to question a religion, celebration, belief, or to discuss them in great detail, but you are allowed to post on special religious celebrations as long as the intentions are not to force a belief on someone else.
Chat box:
The chat box still has the same rules as the forum, although, you may NOT use colored, bold test, underlined, italic, or striked out.

If you break any of these rules you will get banned, maybe a warning. But we still wont tollerate anything!
